Lip Fillers
Natural, Balanced Lip Enhancement in Singapore
Lip fillers can do more than simply “make lips bigger”.
When planned well, they refine shape, restore youthful volume, soften fine lines and improve lip hydration — while still looking like you. At The Hera Clinic, our goal is subtle, proportional enhancement, not an overfilled or artificial result.
Lip fillers are hyaluronic acid (HA)–based gels that are carefully injected to:
-
-
-
- Plump naturally thin lips
- Soften vertical lip lines and wrinkles around the mouth
- Improve lip definition (vermilion border, Cupid’s bow)
- Enhance or restore a gentle pout and profile balance
- Boost hydration in dry, chapped lips
-
-
When designed around your face shape and features, lip fillers shift attention to the centre of the face and create a more harmonious profile, without looking “done”.
How Much Filler Is Needed?
For most patients, a single 1mL syringe is sufficient for balanced lip enhancement. Many clinicians recommend splitting this amount into two sessions a few weeks apart especially for first-timers:
-
-
-
-
Session 1: Foundation and shape
- Session 2 (about 1-2 weeks later): Refinement once initial swelling has settled
-
Reduce swelling and discomfort in this sensitive area
-
Allow filler to settle and tegrate evenly
- Achieve a more natural, tailored results
-
-
-
Your plan at Hera will be individualised — some patients may only need a single session; others prefer gradual build-up.
Definition vs Volume vs Hydration
Different patients need different things — not everyone needs big, dramatic lips.
|
Definition: |
Sharpen the lip contour (similar to a soft, permanent lip liner) | Enhace Cupid’s bow | Give a naturally lifted, “pillowy” look without large volume changes |
|
Volume: |
Treat naturally thin lips | Correct asymmetry between upper and lower lip | Create a soft, pouty appearance for patients who want more fullness |
|
Hydration: |
Improve dry, cracked or chapped lips | Increase water content and suppleness | Give a soft, healthy sheen with minimal added volume |
Who is lip filler Suitable For?
You may consider lip fillers if you:
-
-
-
Feel your lips are too thin or flat, especially in photos
-
Notice ageing changes – lines, shrinking lips, lipstick bleeding into wrinkles
-
Have dry, dull, or cracked lips that don’t respond to balms alone
-
Want a more balanced profhile (e.g. weak upper lip vs fuller lower lip)
- Prefer a non-surgical, adjustable treatment
-
-
At The Hera Clinic, we generally prefer soft, flexible HA fillers for the lips to preserve movement and expression
